The First of Many
My wife got her first "Sickling" today. Get used to it, toots.
Before I changed my name, a GROWN WOMAN openly mocked "Sicking" for about ten minutes while asking me the pre-donation questions the last time I tried to give blood. At first she thought I made it up! Yeah, because when I choose my own name, I'm gonna CHOOSE to go with "Sicking"...and then I'm gonna use my nom de plume to donate a pint of O-positive.
I can't believe it's taken this long!! I had a checker in the supermarket calling after me "Mrs. Sickling you forgot your soup!!" on week 2! Your CA Cousin In-Law
When I started at Children's Hospital the attending doctor almost wet his pants over a nurse named Sicking. I was pretty sure that at any second he was going to say, "Sicking, you must be sick! Mwahhahh!!" Bubash isn't much better but at least now my nickname is "Boobs" instead of "Sick".
